Not long after announcing that he was investing in energy-food company Honey Stinger, Lance Armstrong convinced the company to make its own version of the Dutch stroopwafel, a syrup-filled pastry that he enjoyed while training and racing in Europe but couldn't find back home. Honey Stinger's certified-organic version is filled with—you guessed it—honey. At 160 calories per serving (about the same as a women-specific energy bar), a Tour de France rider would need to consume more than 35 waffles to replace the calories burned in a typical stage. You—and Lance—not so much.
