Editorial Review
Our finalists are top racers from manufacturers that won the '08 Tour de France (Cervelo), ProTour (Pinarello) and World Championships (Wilier). Pinarello's Prince takes the honors because of its flawless handling, and the fact that it remains just a little snappier, a little stiffer and a little more comfortable than other race bikes we've ridden. What of the competition? The Cervelo S3 is a super stiff machine for the pilot who cares less about elegance and more about just going fast. And the Wilier Cento Uno is an all-day racer that pairs perfect power transfer with sharp handling. But on the Prince, your every move feels amplified, somehow more intuitive. Because of that, it's more than just a bike; it's a part of your whole athletic being.

Just an update on my experience with Gita and Pinarello. Do NOT buy anything from Pinarello. Typical of most Italian companies, long on marketing and design, short on customer service and quality. As I posted earlier, my frame failed during warranty and I was basicaly told to F*** off. Bought a TIME with a lifetime warranty, not two years like Pinarello, and have never been happier. BTW, I own the URL PINARELLOSUCKS.COM and will be posting my entire saga with these losers.

I bought an '08 Prince and has been absolutely thrilled with the ride. I do some group rides that get into some fairly gnarly patches of road and the bike is surprisingly supple. Excellent control on fast decents. Just a joy to ride.

Let me throw my two cents in here. I've had my Prince for 18 months and ridden it almost 4000 miles. I've had zero problems with the bike and it still rides like it did when it was new which means it has an unusual combination of stiffness and comfort. Love it.
