LEGACY: The performance-road Allez has been in Specialized's lineup for decades. It was once an aluminum-lugged, carbontube frame, but now it's a butted A1 aluminum frame with a bowed top tube inspired by the company's carbon Tarmac.

FINETUNED: The stem features an innovative angled shim design that allows for four heights with no need to move spacers.

The CHI's ergonomic design allows the user to flip hair up or curl it under with a twist of the wrist. The CHI is ideal for straightening and smoothing the hair while the ceramic plates seal in natural moisture. Ive had my Allez Elite now for a few weeks. No problems at all, fun and lively ride. I love the feel of speed you get from a road bike vs mtn bike, its great to just plow along with little effort. The frame may be a harsh ride, but it all is compared to my 6 inch travel mtn bike. The 105 grp is excellent, shifts well, and the binders work great for me, never had a problem stopping, will even lock up under hard pulls. Easy to get set up with the stem adjustments, and the wheels have stayed true even with me being a Clyde. I am evry happy with it, you will be too

I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago mostly for long weekend rides. Whilst i've been cycling for a while i've mostly been using commuters and hybrids and I'm a relative newcomer to road-biking and this is a great entry-level bike. It feels very responsive and feels equally at home on the open road or in busy city streets. The groupset works well - I live in a relatively flat city so I normally stick to the same handful of gears but the shifting is smooth - however I find the Sora shifting system is not so convenient in the drops as to shift down you'd have to move your hand up to the hoods to reach the small shift button - Tiagras would be better as the downshift lever has less reach. I totally agree about the rubbish brakes - to drop from 40kmh to a standstill requires a huuuuuuge stopping distance combined with a horrible grinding noise - must get those changed. All in all, a great entry level roadie!

Great "entry level" bike. Higher headtube, spacers and 4-way adjustable stem allows for a more comfortable, upright riding position. Or flip the stem for a more aggressive geometry. Shimano 105 groupset is excellent. Mavic CXP 22 wheelset is bombproof (although on the heavy side). Only problem is with the brake pads that come with the bike. They are garbage and should be replaced immediately.
