Editorial Review
WHAT UP: The Dawg has been a staple in the Kona all-mountain pen for more than a decade. But this year the Dawg line shrank to make room for its new allmountain big bros the Cadabra and Abra Cadabra. Still, more than ever, the Dawg is Kona's best option for riders looking at a first full-suspension bike to take on new challenges or for established all-mountain riders who need a new blue-collar rig.

MEAT AND POTATOES: The 2010 Dawg has a Kona Race Lite aluminum frame at its core. The spec includes a drivetrain powered by Shimano's SLX rear derailleur (we think it's one of the best lunch-bucket parts on earth), a 130mm RockShox Tora 302 fork, a versatile set of 2.35- inch Maxxis Aspen tires and Shimano M-505 clipless pedals
