SHOCK OF ALL TRADES: The Dual Rate Control Valve shock, codeveloped with FOX, is designed to suck up small bumps and handle big hits—it comes stock on all 2010 Trek Remedy and most Fuel EX models. A split air chamber allows for a lively, efficient ride at first, then activates the secondary air chamber only when the shock moves through 50 percent of its travel, for a plusher big-hit feel.
BETTER BRAKES: This year's EX8 has Avid's Elixir 5 hydraulic stoppers. They're the most basic model in the Elixir line, yet they're an upgrade from last year's Avid Juicy 5s.

Review By Pandy316, Rides for Fitness:LOVE, LOVE ,LOVE this bike! Easy to pedal uphill and flies downhill while rolling over everything in its way. I am definitely not the most skilled rider but this bike is so much fun that I can't wait until the next ride.
