Vesta Saddle
MSRP: $130
Bicycling Review
Issue: May 2010
Editorial Review
I figured if the Vesta saddle was good enough for the rear end of American rising star Evie Stevens (HTC-Columbia), it'd be good enough for mine. The newest addition to Fizik's ladies' line has the same wide profile as the company's Vitesse, but adds a pressure-relieving channel as well as slightly more nose padding.
Saddle choice is obviously a personal thing, but for me, the Vesta provides an optimal combination of support and padding. The firm foam cushions my sit bones-without resembling a squishy comfort-bike saddle-and the saddle curves up slightly in back, which helps me achieve a roadie position in spite of my inflexible lower spine. And don't worry: If the sassy Miss Berlin shown here is a little too weird for your taste, know that the Vesta also comes in basic black, gray suede and white.—Emily Furia
